Privacy notice
Last updated 6 October 2026
This notice explains what Coinlendar collects and why. We keep it deliberately small.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name and a hashed (never plain-text) password.
- Your activity: the events you follow, the coins you watch, events you submit and reports you send.
- Preferences: your time zone, clock format and week start.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details when you sign in, kept with your session so we can protect the service and show you where you’re signed in.
- Anonymous page counts: a simple count of how often each event page is opened. It isn’t linked to you.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, show advertising, or use third-party tracking or analytics cookies. We set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and a local-storage entry for your theme and display choices.
How it’s used
To run your account, build your calendar and personal feed, review submissions, keep the service secure and fix problems.
Your personal feed
Your calendar-feed link contains a secret token. Anyone with the link can read the list of events in your feed, so keep it private. You can replace it at any time in your account.
Your choices
You can change your details and preferences in your account, and delete your account there too. Deleting removes your account, follows and watchlist. Events you submitted remain on Coinlendar but are no longer linked to you.
